Michael J. Morris is senior vice president of finance and treasurer of Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW), a $5.3 billion freight transportation and logistics services company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Con-way delivers industry-leading services through its primary operating companies of Con-way Freight, Menlo Worldwide Logistics and Con-way Truckload. These operating units provide high-performance, day-definite, less-than-truckload (LTL) and full truckload and intermodal freight transportation, as well as logistics, warehousing and supply chain management services, and trailer manufacturing. Con-way Inc. and its subsidiaries operate from 500 locations across North America and in 20 countries and five continents.
Mr. Morris joined Con-way Inc. in January 2011 from Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. where he served as chief financial officer since 2009, and as vice president of finance and treasurer beginning in 2006.
Prior to Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc., he was assistant treasurer at Constellation Energy Group, Inc. from 2005 to 2006. In addition, Mr. Morris also held various positions of increasing responsibility at the treasurer’s office of General Motors Corporation.
Mr. Morris holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA in finance from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Morris is based at Con-way’s corporate office in Ann Arbor, Mich.
